At Mother Goose Nursery we believe the 'Welfare of the Child is Paramount' therefore our team work tirelessly to ensure that you and your child recieve the best possible care. We believe that each child is an individual and must be treated as such. We believe in fair treatment of everyone and practice Equal Opportunities at every level.
All children are unique and the amount of time that a child takes to settle into our Nursery can vary enormously. Children will be given time to settle in at their own pace, ensuring they feel welcome, safe and confident.
We encourage parents to help during this time.
Each child is allocated a key person who will be responsible for monitoring the child's progress and keeping records about each child in their care. Parents can view their child's records at any time online via our online learning journal- Family app ,and we welcome any observations and pictures taken at home.
The key person is also the first point of contact for parents and daily updates can be made to meet the needs of each individual child.
We follow the Department of Health's guidelines on sleep and take account of individual wishes. Our policy on sleeping can be viewed within the Parent Information area of our web site.
We are one of the first day nurseries to provide a Hot meal service, which we still offer at a competitive rate and endeavour to meet all dietary needs and keep food appealing to children yet healthy and nutritionally balanced. See our current Menu displayed at nursery reception.
Snacks are provided free of charge and lunch is a hot Home Cooked meal prepared. In our 5* rated premises.
